eFX Collectibles Luke Skywalker Stunt Saber

There were two different versions of props produced for each Star
Wars film. The “hero” versions of each prop were constructed using higher
quality materials (usually metal) and would be used in close ups shots during
filming or for promotional/marketing purposes. The “stunt” sabers were
generally made out of resin and would be used by the actors during the filming
of the action and fight scenes of the movie.



Until now these stunt sabers have been given very little attention by the prop
replica community, but eFX has decided to honor these often forgotten “heroes”
of film making history by producing a line of high quality, exact 1:1 replicas
of the stunt sabers.



All of the eFX Collectibles Stunt Sabers are cast in high quality resin and are
supported by an internal armature. Each piece is hand painted to exacting standards
and come complete with a custom display stand and certificate of authenticity.
Stunt Sabers are not limited edition. These are a perfect alternative for those
who’s budget may not be able to include a limited edition replica or those
who enjoying “trooping” or “role-playing” and don’t want
to risk damaging their more expensive cousins.
